The Vocational Pathway curriculum is designed to help students develop their confidence, skills and knowledge while working towards a qualifications in their chosen vocational area.

The student will attend will two providers. The Hub will work closely with students, families and professional to selected providers which will reflect their individual needs, interests and future aspirations. This provides opportunities to experience different learning environments and develop practical, employability and life skills.

Students will gain qualifications in the two areas:

  • Functional Skills Maths and English – Levels 1 and 2
  • Vocational qualifications from Entry Level 3 to Level 1 – these include Hair and Beauty, Construction, Catering, Sport, Health and Social Care, Travel and Tourism , Mechanics and Armed forces prep

Students will also have opportunities to develop their personal and employability skills, gaining valuable experiences, knowledge and qualifications that help prepare them for their next steps beyond Key Stage 4 and into Post-16 education, training or employment.
