KS3 Project 5 and KS4 PSHE

KS3, our PSHE and RSHE is taught weekly within the The Hub School Project 5 curriculum, and at Key Stage 4 through the PSHE curriculum – with the biological aspects of RSE taught within the science curriculum. The RE aspects of the curriculum are included in Project 5.

In KS3, our intent is to immerse our students in a series of hands on project-based experiences that will allow them to explore their own personal strengths, whilst learning how to work as a team and develop their self-worth and interpersonal skills. These concepts will be drip fed throughout the series of lessons, so that the PHSE elements are diffused into them on a subliminal basis. The core aim is fun and if students are having fun, they are engaged and consequently receptive to learning.
