I feel extremely privileged to serve as the Executive Headteacher of The Hub School and I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. Our school community is built on a culture of care and support, where we recognise and celebrate that every individual is unique. We believe that these differences are strengths and are central to who we are as a school.

I joined The Hub School in April 2019 and have had the honour of leading the school through a period of significant change and improvement. Prior to this, I spent ten years in senior leadership roles within mainstream secondary schools, and it was my passion for inclusive education that brought me to The Hub School. Since joining The Education Alliance, I have also taken on the role of Director of Inclusion across the Trust, supporting schools to achieve our shared vision: great schools, happier stronger communities, better lives.

I firmly believe that education should go far beyond academic achievement. Schools should nurture young people in all areas of life – social, emotional, and personal – preparing them for the world we live in today and the future ahead. At The Hub School, this is achieved through a focus on relational practice, building strong, trusting relationships, and creating an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported to succeed.

All staff share a common vision and commitment to providing pupils with exciting learning opportunities, and to equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and resilience to thrive in a fast-changing world. Our core values – Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, and Relationships – guide all that we do, and pupils are encouraged to live by these values in every aspect of school life.
